Grief and Loss
You don’t have to cope with loss alone.
Coping with loss is challenging.
Carrying grief alone is hard. As a therapist, I see you and understand what you are going through at the moment.
Perhaps you are mourning the loss of a parent/grandparent or someone else near and dear while having to put on a brave face for your family, friends, colleagues, and teachers. Everything seems turned upside down, making daily life seem impossible. At this moment, your life is at a standstill, making you wonder if things will ever be the same.
Grief doesn’t even have to be about the death of a loved one. It can be grieving a past relationship, lost time, your past self, or past life. Job transitions or the end of a relationship can also cause you to grieve.
The grieving process doesn’t follow a timeline, and everyone grieved differently. You may carry sadness, anger, or guilt, and it can feel deeply isolating, like no one fully understands what you’re going through. It also tends to show up years later because something else triggered it.
Let me acknowledge and hold the room for you!
Together, we will work to recognize emotions and narrate your story. We’ll create an authentic space where you can process your loss, authentically honor your experience, and help you move forward while still holding onto what matters most or what doesn't.
Throughout the process, we will help you learn to manage your grief, learn to keep positive memories, and find ways to cope with the loss you feel.
There will be laughter, tears, and everything in between. Most importantly, we will go at your pace.
It will take time to process your feelings, but you will eventually be able to gain a perspective that allows you to move forward, not by forgetting but by gaining resilience.
Grieving alone isn’t the answer.
You feel alone and unsure where to start, but you don’t have to white-knuckle these difficult emotions on your own.
Grief therapy provides a space where you can grieve as long as it takes while working with someone who understands what you are going through.
Together, we can help you find a way forward.
Call me, and let’s connect for 15 minutes to explore how you can honor your grief in a way that feels authentic to you.
